A few days ago, my daughter (8 months) was in my lap, and all of a sudden she jumped upon the keyboard and thereby pressing numerous btns. Now instantly, even though one application was open (which I don’t remember now), a pale blue screen covered up with two gear like image in the middle. Although I can view faintly my desktop and other ikons. On trying atleast on all of the btns on my keyboard, I managed to get free from the pale blue screen. By pressing F8 button.

Dont worry – Your keyboard may be fine, try turning off filterkeys

Windows has a feature called “filter keys”, which can be enabled if you hold a key down for too long or press the shift key 5 times in a row ( on some computers only ). This will stop you from pressing any keys on the keyboard and typing anything at all until this feature is disabled.
