I will be upfront with you. There is no-quick fix answer to your problem. But there is an answer..
Most wireless network problems can be fixed and this is a common job we do, however sometimes problems arise from the computer being too far away or too many walls blocking the signal.
A few days ago, my daughter (8 months) was in my lap, and all of a sudden she jumped upon the keyboard and thereby pressing numerous btns. Now instantly, even though one application was open (which I don’t remember now), a pale blue screen covered up with two gear like image in the middle. Although I can view faintly my desktop and other ikons. On trying atleast on all of the btns on my keyboard, I managed to get free from the pale blue screen. By pressing F8 button.
