How to deliver reliable Support

14 May, 2008 (09:25) | Tips and Explanations

Recently I was discussing with a new client, the negative experiences he has had with other IT Support companies around Perth not showing up after booking an appointment. It seems strange to me that people would book an appointment and then forget about it or change their mind.

So here is a 4 step process on how to deliver reliable Computer Support:

  • 1) We asses wether we are a good match and are confident to help with your problem. If so, proceed to step 2…
  • 2) We explain if anything is needed before we arrive and how we work.
  • 3) We check our schedule and yours, abd give you a specific time slot in a 1 hour window. We then block it off in our diary so nothing else gets in the way.
  • 4) We arrive, help you with your problem and get the job done.
  • If there are any delays or problems in getting to your appointment we phone or sms ahead to let you know, so you arent left wondering or waiting.

This system ensures we don’t miss appointments and keep our clients happy. If this makes sense to you and you need help, phone Paul on 0401 229 104

What is this all about?
You probably arrived here because you are struggling with some issues on your Computer and need some help… You are not alone, many people struggle with Computer issues, they don’t always work as they should and computer problems can be really frustrating and time-wasting. Thats why I created IT Call Out – to help people like you, who need a helping hand every once in a while.

How do we work? why a mobile service?
IT Call Out is a very small business. We travel around and help people on-site, because people like being able to get the problems sorted out, without having to remember how to unplug and replug everything. Its also a hassle to lug your PC around.

Who do we work for?
We help every day people in their homes along with small businesses and sub-contract to larger companies that don’t have any local IT support presence.

Note: We may or may not be a good fit for you, we are a premium service. We work quickly, we always show up, explain things without jargon, have strong technical skills and experience, our rates are comparable to other high-quality I.T. support companies. Our home and business clients are often Lawyers, Doctors, Pilots, executives and business owners who appreciate friendly service, explained to them in plain english without any jargon. Our rates are $60.50 per half hour with a 1 hour minimum ($121 Per hour including GST) and no call out fees in most of the Perth area. We have a no fuss guarantee; we give you 100% of your money back, if you are not completely satisfied with our service for whatever reason, so long as you let us know before we leave.

We have clients in many areas around Perth including Cottesloe, Floreat, Nedlands, Freemantle, Duncraig, Karrinyup all the way through to Joondalup and beyond.

Our Values
We value honesty, kindness and building long-term relationships with clients, most of our work is from previous happy clients who enjoy having us help them out every once in a while.

telstra next g
telstra next g network

What is this “Next G Network or Wireless broadband” thing anyway?

Basically it uses mobile phone type signals to connect to internet.

But don’t I already have wireless broadband?

Well, actually there are two different types of “wireless broadband”

1) Your local one, using your phone line for the internet connection with a router that gives you access within 35m in your home or office.

2) The other type is using mobile phone signals to connect to the internet wherever you are.

Recently I setup 6 PCs for a company that was moving office. Due to a lack of ADSL (broadband) in the area, we connected them through the next g broadband network…
