My quick story; I started learning computers when I was 5 years old (about 22 years ago now). I was always fascinated by computers and sort-of developed a "knack for technology".. You know, I was always that guy that figured out how to program the VCR without the manual and the guy that would set the clock on the oven while waiting for the food to cook.
While I enjoy being around technology and figuring it all out, I'm the kind of person who really enjoys being around people and interacting so I'm not really your average computer guy who is happy to sit in a cubicle all day.
So I figured out a cool way to combine the two, where I come out to help people in their homes and offices with their computers and this is my business - IT Call Out.
One of the reasons I run my own business, is because I like to do things properly, thoroughly and put my clients first.
I also enjoy the creative challenge and it gives me the freedom to be able to sit and have a cup of tea with a client if I have time without worrying about needing to account for every minute of the day.

This is the process I use with my clients;
- I seek to understand your Computer problem and asses whether we are a good fit. If I am confident to help with your problem, proceed.
- I explain if anything is needed before I arrive and how I work.
- I check my schedule and yours, and give you a specific time slot. I then block it off in my diary so nothing else gets in the way.
- I arrive On-Site, help you with your problem and get the job done. (You can watch and ask questions, or "leave it to me".. I don't mind either way)

- Everyday people in their homes - I help all kinds of everyday people in their homes with their computers. I have clients from all kinds of backgrounds, for instance I have clients that are Parents, Students, Pilots, Lawyers, Accountants, Engineers, Geologists, Gardeners, Painters, Mechanics, Natural therapists, Small Business Owners. I enjoy meeting a large variety of people because it makes my work very interesting.
- I Sub-contract to International & National Companies with large computer networks - some companies have large I.T. departments over east or internationally but no local I.T. staff. I help them with the setting up & maintenance, upkeep, monitoring and upgrading of servers, desktops, networks and printers. (Server racks, VPNs etc)

| I cannot help with Dropped laptops that no longer start. Insider secret on broken laptops: When a laptop screen has been cracked or a laptop has been dropped and won't start, it is often cheaper to buy a new laptop. This is the main reason why I do not offer to fix these kinds of problems. |

My rates are $65ex tax per half hour with a 1 hour minimum ($143 Per hour including GST) with no call out fees in most of the Perth area (Fremantle - Joondalup. I have a pretty unique guarantee that no-one else in Perth offers (scroll up to see the details); I wont charge you at all, if you are not completely satisfied for whatever reason, so long as you let me know before I leave (so I can do my best to fix the problem)
